Winter Quarter Lessons

Holy Spirit

Hi !

We just started our winter quarter, and Wow! time is flying by. Through this quarter every week we will learn how to grow stronger as a Christian. Just as a body builder lifts weights to grow stronger, we are learning different ways to grow stronger in Christ.

We started off this quarter with the Power of the Holy Spirit. We had a (fake) dynamite stick that we used for an illustration. God's power is so much more powerful than dynamite. We talked about how when the devil comes and tries to bring us down, we can light our dynamite of God's power and throw it at him. As a Christian there will be many times the devil will try to bring us down, we decided to use our dynamite of Gods power and "blow him away

Each week in this quarter we will talk of ways to grow stronger as a Christian. The Holy Spirit, dwells within us when we receive Christ as our Savior. Isn't that awesome?

Then we passed around our dynamite stick while saying our memory verse and who ever was caught with the dynamite stick was out.

Ephesians 6:10

Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

We are so excited to see what this new quarter brings for our ever growing class!
