Joshua 7:1-26

Wow, God has blessed our class so much. We have grown and are growing in leaps and bounds!

Our literature title is "Winning with God"

Each week we have a ribbon we add to our board that represents a way we as Christians win with God.

We are following the children of Israel and Joshua their leader to the Promise Land.

We have and are learning so much. Every week we try to think of a fun way to learn about God and his word…

Joshua 7:1-26

Last week we learned about how God hates sin, and how it can't be hidden. Achan in the book of Joshua, stole and hid things in his tent. He thought no one knew. But, God sees and knows everything.

We talked about our hands having dirt on them, how everything we touch gets dirty, and how if I hid them behind my back they still are dirty, even if I try to hide them. Achan hid the things, but his heart was still dirty. He had sin… Even though our parents, teachers, family, friends may not know, God sees and knows!!! Achan was punished and a lot of people suffered for his sin.

   July 1st ribbon= I am a winner when I confess my Sins!!!!

   Memory verse=Psalm 118:6

     The gospel plan is as simple as ABC:

A-admit your sins

B-believe he died and on the 3rd day arose

C-commit your life to him

Sin is a serious thing and God hates it. When we do sin, others suffer for the things we do. Follow the gospel plan and live your life for him.

We all have a purpose.
